The Malaysia Cup

The Malaysia Cup was first contested in 1921, as the Malaya Cup, making it one of the oldest football competitions in Asia. For generations it was the centrepiece of Malaysian football, contested largely by state teams, and its final remains one of the biggest occasions in the domestic calendar.

The Malaysia FA Cup

The FA Cup (Piala FA) is a knockout competition organised in Malaysia since 1990. Like cup competitions elsewhere, it gives clubs from different levels the chance to meet, and a single tie can decide a team's run.

The Piala Sumbangsih

The Piala Sumbangsih is Malaysia's charity shield: a one-off match that opens the season, traditionally played between the previous season's league champions and a cup winner.

Formats change
